Previous recent trips included Turkey, Australia09, Australia08, Antarctica 08-09 , New Zealand.

Upcoming trips planned - Malaysia, Singapore, Krakatau/Java, Falkland Islands? who knows!

No, it's not because I get rich teaching :-), but because I save by not buying other stuff!
I travel on a budget and often stay with friends!

Do the math! and research!, you can get most places on Earth for less than $2000 airfare
If you save $10/day for a year you will have $3650 = your airfare and
the basic money to get along for several weeks (or more for some countries).
